A Magnificent Pair of Late Louis XVI Black Marble Vases, Circa 1790, attributed to Charles de Wailly.

Of circular form the bodies spirally fluted and with pierced looped handles.  Each supported on a circular foot and square solid porphyry base.  The vases are capped with spirally fluted covers and a circular finial.
