Case: inlaid overall in premiere partie with foliate scrolls and Berainesque scene, with herald finial, the front with relief cast figure in a chariot, the contrepartie bracket with bearded mask to the angles and terminating in a foliate mount, the hood with very faint trace of stamp: "P.." DIAL: foliate cast ormolu with white enamel chapters and blued steel hands MOVEMENT: rectangular plates joined by five vase-shaped pillars, twin barrels, now with anchor escapement, unpierced calibrated countwheel with strike on bell above, signed "Le Siamois Paris".

Etienne (called Thomas Le Siamois (1674-1732) is recorded in rue de Harlay "Au Griffon D'Or" in 1701 and rue Dauphine 1704-1732.
